DEMOCRACY

“Democracy doesn't work. However it doesn't work better than anything"
Democracy has no overturns. If the people are ignorant and careless, then the chosen leader would be an image of them. When the bad rules, then there would be no positive growth. People feel the effect of the negative growth and the bad rule and they react to the stress to correct previous flaws.

It can mean something different to every man who thinks about it. Ostensibly, it means the individuals right to self determination but that presupposes a consensus within a group about what is acceptable and what is not within a society. If there is no consensus then what you have is anarchy and anarchy hardly can be a guarantor of individual rights.
Thus, democracy is always help in positive growth of a country. But this positive development is lacking in the case of our country Pakistan.

The Relief Activities

The relief activities is a big news,If done properly this can be a game changer in itself. If we look at the main stream political parties like PPP,PMLs
primarily power hungry, corrupt mafias who have nothing to do with social work. On the other hand the JI has a very impressive social work track record but almost no political
acumen. There is a huge vacuum for a politico-social movement in the country. I am intentionally not using the traditional terms of right or left wing politics because these are
too simple, at times misleading and in Pakistan's context perhaps inapplicable. We definitely need a leftist punch( via social, legal and economic reforms), but that does not
mean that we have to be a leftist party as a whole.
( all factions)they are all
. Imran was 100% right when he said the he would not go mere "photo sessions" or "aerial views" of the flood ravaged areas. Instead he
would take the relief goods with him. Incidentally the flood affected areas are those which are the poorest, least develop and would benefit most if a genuine political force
emerges. These are also the areas where PTI does not exist and many in those areas may not know Imran or PTI at all. This is not a 1-2 week thing and Imran rightly pointed
out about the time period of at least 1 year of work. This 1 year may make PTI a genuine political force and the voice of the poor if we work in the right direction.

1)The camps and relief activities should involve all the 4 provinces. Imran as primary leader of the relief effort but he must try to recruit as many more workers from

these areas as possible. They will be relief workers for now but would be party workers of future.

2) Apart from visiting the flood ravaged areas I think Imran should campaign in big cities for fund raising as well. With Geo/Jang group on board we can properly advertise this

campaign and I am sure it will generate huge sums of money. In fact after the Eid he can start this from Peshawar and can go all the way to Sindh.

3) Try to establish/organize the party in these areas( Southern Punjab and interior Sindh and Sindh-Balochistan border.
